The
image - Strong, sketched, linear, glamorous, sophisticated, well-defined.
The ideas - An exclusive "techno-ethnic" blend ie. Techno fabrics applied
to ethnic shapes and vice versa. Double and fake double finishes. Double
and padded lightweught materials. No collars. No buttons. The contrast
effect in the combination of materials: roguh with refined, gloss with
mat, light with dark. The Colours - Love at first sight for english pastels
contrasted with a preference for bright shades of green, turquoise and
ruby. The emphasis on black as linking element. A natural bond with neutral
colours from putty to mud, dove grey to cold brown. The highlights - Anike-lenght
skirts with a love waist band of close ribbing; short jackets with large
kimono sleeves; jackets cut like indian shirts; overcoats in bouclé wool;
"gurkha" duster coats with double finishes; outerwear in stitched and
padded velvet with a cordonnet finish; little tops in masculine fabrics
worn in place of jackets and pullovers; slim trousers under tunics; oversized
trousers matched with men's cotton shirts; trousers which are pleate below
to knee and paired with ultra mini tops. The evening wear - Colour, graphic
patterns, light, geometric effects, and linear shapes are the leitmotiv
of a sophisticated and innovative evening wear collection. Highlights
are the "light-catching" embroidery applied to net or tulle backgrounds
with a "spider-web" finish; sequins, crystal and baguette beads in acid
green, torquoiseeeee or ruby "arranged" in geometric patterns or strong
floral ones; full and precious embroidery with "highlighted" shaded effects.
The silhouettes are deliberately slim and linear and feature long dresses
with neat necklines, skirts, tops, bodies, trousers and jackets defined
above all by the colur and by the embroidery. |
